*Once usage begins, the service will become unusable automatically when the amount of connectivity time allowed for the plan you applied for runs out (1-day plan: 24 hours, 1-week plan: 168 hours, 3-week plan: 504 hours).
*If application is made using a coupon code, the hours when transmission is possible will vary for each coupon code. They are not limited to one day (24 hours), one week (168 hours) or 3 weeks (504 hours).
What does "hours when transmission is possible" mean?
It means the hours when Wi-Fi transmission is possible using "docomo Wi-Fi for visitors." Our service can be used within the "hours when transmission is possible" from the time of your first log in for Wi-Fi use.
What is a coupon code?
A coupon code is a code issued by a partner company of docomo Wi-Fi for visitors.
By entering the code and your email address when applying for the service, an account for docomo Wi-Fi for visitors will be created.

If you have a coupon code, you will be able to use the service without payments to NTT DOCOMO.
I got a coupon code (coupon) but was only able to use it for one day. Why is that?
The hours when transmission is possible are determined differently for each coupon code.
The coupon code you were using only allowed transmission for one day (24 hours).
I have got a coupon code (coupon) and I would like to know how many hours I can use it.
When you open your "docomo Wi-Fi for visitors" account, it will appear on the page that confirms details of the application.
What is a hotspot for sign-up?
It is a free Wi-Fi hotspot (SSID:docomo-visitors) used exclusively for applying to docomo Wi-Fi for visitors service. Visitors to Japan can apply to our service without worrying about international roaming communication fees, other cellular connection charges or Wi-Fi connection service to the internet.
What is the "docomo-visitors" Wi-Fi network (SSID)?
It is the name of a free Wi-Fi network used exclusively to sign up for docomo Wi-Fi for visitors service without worrying about communication fees in Japan.
Do you plan to increase hotspots for sign-up?

How soon can I use the service after applying?
After finishing the application, you will immediately be able to use the service within docomo Wi-Fi areas. The length of connectivity time allowed will be counted from the point in time when you first log in. The time limit for use will be after 150 days if you have purchased with a credit card, or the number of days you have been advised at the time of application if you have used a coupon code.
I finished the application, but I have not received the email notification of completion of the application.
Please confirm that the email address you registered with when applying is capable of receiving email from the “@docomowifi.com” domain.
Will the email confirming the completion of my application be re-sent?
The email notification of completion of the application can only be sent once.
When you wish to recheck your account information, you must carry out the steps to reissue your account in order to receive your account information via email again.
However, please be aware that the reissue process requires the email address you used when applying.

Is it possible to change my registered information after applying?
After finishing the application, you will not be able to modify your registration details (plan / email address / credit card information / coupon code) or cancel your application. Also, we will not be able to answer inquiries on registration details, account information or customer information.

Payment for the following payment plans may only be made via credit card.

Please tell me how to use the service.
(When visiting Japan) Within the docomo Wi-Fi service area, select the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) for this service on your device (smartphone or PC) and enter the Wi-Fi Password (Security Key) to show the login screen. Then log in by entering your user name and password.
*This service allows the use of the “0000docomo” and “docomo” Wi-Fi Network Names (SSID). The Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) available will depend on the area where the customer resides. Note, the “0001docomo” Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) may not be used with this service.

If you wish to continue to use the service, you must apply again on the docomo Wi-Fi for visitors application website.

There is no dedicated app available for use with this service.
The customer must select the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and enter the Wi-Fi Password (Security Key), user ID, and password themselves each time.
How do I connect to a hotspot for sign-up?
Look for a Wi-Fi hotspot named SSID:docomo-visitors with your communication device and select it.
Can I browse the internet using a hotspot for sign-up?
These Wi-Fi networks are used exclusively for signing up and cannot be used for other purposes. If you already have a contract with docomo Wi-Fi for visitors service, please use SSID "0000docomo" and "docomo".
I used the internet to apply via hotspot for sign-up. Why can't I connect to the internet now?
These Wi-Fi networks are used exclusively for signing up and cannot connect you with the internet for other purposes. After making a contract with docomo Wi-Fi for visitors service, you can use SSID "0000docomo" and "docomo" to connect to the internet.
Where can I find hotspots for sign-up?
You can find them at major international airports, tourist spots and other places where many visitors go in Japan. The "docomo-visitors" Wi-Fi network (SSID) is available in these areas.

I forgot my login user ID or password. What should I do?
You were notified of your user ID and password by email when your application was completed.
If you have lost the email, please carry out the account reissuance procedure.

Is it possible to utilize several devices simultaneously with one account (user ID / password)?
This service does not enable several devices to be utilized simultaneously with one account.
To utilize several devices simultaneously, it is necessary to apply for accounts corresponding to the number of devices to be used and utilize different accounts.

What types of products are capable of connecting to the Wi-Fi network?
This service can be used with wireless LAN-equipped devices meeting Wi-Fi (IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac) standards for smartphones, tablets and PCs, etc.
※Please use the service after first checking that the device you are utilizing is compliant with Japan’s technical standards (i.e. it has received technical standards conformance certification, etc.).
